One must-see landmark in the local area has to be the Greenisland Viaducts.
Having finished construction in 1934, these Viaducts were the brainchild of Dublin born architect Freeman Wills Crofts, who would go on to become a famous detective novel writer.
These Viaducts represented the cutting edge of technology at the time. They were and still are a key part of the rail system, allowing trains to save considerable time on their journey by removing the need to reverse the train at greenisland.
This striking landmark surely deserves a visit at some point in your life!
